Savia Social Studies is a series that is in step with our country's reality, rigorously updated, and reviewed by experts in social and historical content. Our consultants are
members of the Puerto Rican Historians' Association who have extensive teaching experience.

Contents are presented through attractive, modern readings, comic strips, maps, diagrams, pictures, and illustrations. Students will be able to contextualize past events in a modern setting and discover solutions to social and historical problems. They will also learn through projects and workshops, where they will apply the knowledge they have acquired and grow into responsible citizens. Our goal is to raise their awareness of the role they play in personal, family, community, country, and global contexts.
